A quick method is to rinse the glass first with cold water. Additionally, the wet surface of the glass will also reduce the friction on the beer as it is poured.

Always store your beer standing up. Wine is placed on its side to keep the cork wet. Beer caps don't need to be wet.  Storing beer on its side can expose more of the beer to oxygen and sunlight the two biggest enemies of beer freshness.  Keep your Abita Beer standing tall and tasting great.
