The way
you pour a beer has an impact on how it tastes. It’s all about that
layer of foam on the top of the beer known as the “head”. The head
releases aroma and adds to the enjoyment of your Abita Beer.
Choose a clean glass. It should be free from odors of food, smoke or
whatever you used to clean it. A glass cleaned in your dishwasher at
home is generally just fine. Make sure the glass is free of oils of any
kind as they will break down the head on the beer.
Hold the beer glass at an angle as you pour, allowing the beer to
run down the side of the glass. As the glass fills, slowly return it to
an upright position.
The final part of the pour should go right into the center of the glass to create a dense head on the beer.
Serve and enjoy.
