Abita On Tap in Longmont, Colorado - The Longmont Times-Call
LONGMONT — Ten months of planning and sweat culminate today in the opening of Oskar Blues Home Made Liquids & Solids, the company’s new Longmont restaurant.
Owner Dale Katechis said he and co-owner Anita Gray, who’s been with Oskar Blues’ Lyons restaurant for five years and will manage the Longmont location, put $800,000 into refurbishing the former Silo Restaurant & Sports Bar, which closed in 2006.
Nine of the bar’s 43 beer taps will hold Oskar Blues brews; the rest will be devoted to other craft brewers, including Longmont’s own Left Hand Brewing Co. and Avery in Boulder.
