We’ve been proud to call Louisiana home & have always understood our responsibility to be a good member of our community. Over the next several months, we plan to keep Culture on Tap by spotlighting & sharing some of our favorite Louisiana artists & local businesses that have the same passion for their work as we do. We hope this helps bring awareness & support to their business when they need it most.
The next local group we want to feature is Tank and the Bangas. This grammy nominated band is based out of New Orleans and met at an open mic night in the 2011. Almost instantly, this group knew that they had something that stirred crowds that wanted original music from them. They can go as hard as a rock band, but effortlessly transition into a funky groove or softer passages that evoke smooth R&B. If you’ve been lucky enough to see them live, you know what we’re talking about. Be sure to look for them this October at French Quarter Festival 2020!
