Use as a topping over your favorite ice cream, cheesecake or sponge cake.
Makes 2 to 4 servings
Ingredients
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 heaping tablespoon light brown sugar
1/3 cup Abita Golden
2 ripe bananas, peeled, cut in half then sliced lengthwise
Directions
Melt the butter in skillet over medium-low heat. Add the sugar and stir to dissolve.
Slowly add the beer and simmer, stirring, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add the bananas and cook, about 2 minutes on each side.
Serve warm.
