Visit the Tap Room

Join us for a pint at the bar or outside in the courtyard or beer garden. Select from our rotating taps, including year-round brews, seasonals, limited releases and root beer. We know beer decisions are hard, so we also offer flights of 4-ounce tasters. And you can now go home with a 32oz crowler or 64oz. growler of your favorite Abita beer!

The Abita Tap Room is BYOF (bring your own food), but check our brewery events calendar for our rotating schedule of weekly food trucks. You can also have food delivered to the brewery from local vendors. Ask our beer guides for menus.

Of course! You can buy beer packaged, on draft, or in a growler to-go.

If you need to change the date or time of your tour reservation, please email us at abitavisitorcenter@abita.com or call 985-893-3143. We do not offer refunds for tours. We are happy to accommodate your party on another date or time that works with your schedule.

As much as we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed on the brewery tour. But they can hang out on our patio & beer garden!

Absolutely! We will consider special request tours for groups of 25 or more. To set up a special request tour, contact abitavisitorcenter@abita.com and specify the desired date and time of the tour.

Yes, the Tap Room and tour is open to all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. You must be 21 years of age or older to consume our beer. Root beer is available for visitors under the age of 21.

Our tours are $10 and include four 4 oz. samples of our beer. Reservations can be made in advance. We also leave spots open on all of our guided tours for walk-ins.

We accept credit and debit cards only. No cash or personal checks can be used to pay for tours, beer, or retail items.

Our current tap room & Gift Shop hours are Monday – Sunday 11am – 9pm.

Our guided and self-guided tours are as followed:

Yes! We have a growler filler with 15-20 of your favorite Abita brews available to fill. We sell Abita growlers onsite, but we’ll be happy to fill your 64 oz. growler. Please be sure to clean your growler prior to arriving!

We have light snacks (chips/pretzels) for sale. On select Saturdays, food trucks visit the brewery. Please check the upcoming schedule. Visitors are also welcome to BYOF (bring your own food) and enjoy at our bar, courtyard, or beer garden.
