Caesars Superdome, a New Orleans icon and one of the most legendary venues in sports and entertainment, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a commemorative craft beer release in partnership with Abita Brewing Company, the official craft beer of the New Orleans Saints.
The new limited-edition beer, Abita Golden Era, will officially debut at the Saints’ second home game of the 2025 season, when New Orleans hosts the San Francisco 49ers. Fans in attendance will be the first to raise a can of the golden lager, designed exclusively to mark Caesars Superdome’s five decades of era-defining moments.
Abita Golden Era is a bright, perfectly balanced lager that is brewed with American malt, Mt. Hood hops, German lager yeast and the pure artesian spring water of Abita Springs. At 4.2% ABV, it’s light in body, smooth on the palate and exceptionally drinkable.
This beer reflects the same Louisiana roots that shaped the Superdome. It’s straightforward recipe and refreshing character make it a natural choice to mark 50 years of history at one of the state’s most iconic landmarks.
On release, the beer will be available for purchase during events in locations that serve Abita beer on Caesars Superdome grounds.
The release of Abita Golden Era is part of the Caesars Superdome’s yearlong 50th anniversary celebration, which includes special events, fan experiences, and tributes to the historic venue’s past while looking ahead to the stadium’s next era of live events.
